"Learning about art is like learning a language with all its subtilities and finesse. It requires time and experience."

- De Castro

Feeling that I was born in the wrong century, I surely had this feeling many times.
The 19th century was probably very exciting for explorers around the world
and were definitely great times for discoveries.

At a very young age, I was already fascinated by old things and admired how humans have built temples, buildings,  had the capability to achieve such admirable prowess and
how our minds and hands could create such beauty and finesse.
For two decades now and without a doubt, Asian art got me in his nets like millions of us.
While being just a collector to the point of not having any more space in my home,
I had no choice of selling some of my antiques and created The Collection of Kanaka

Learning about art is like learning a language with all its subtilities and finesse.
It requires time and experience so don’t count in years when it comes to
knowledge
of antiques but more in decades.
